The Washington DC US Territory Quarter is also 24K Gold Plated and shows a happy Snoopy with the famous zig-zag design of Charlie Brown's shirt in the background. Coins have been layered in Genuine 24 Karat Gold, and then beautifully enhanced with colorized images. Washington DC was one of the first cities in which the Peanuts comic strip was published.
