Linus Hand Carved (Teak) Wood Figurine From Manila - "Ive/We All Have Our Hangups" RARE!
Rare hand carved solid wood figurine made by Vizcarra of Philippines. Every piece is unique and no two are exactly alike. Label indicates is was figurine No. 125. Based on the grain pattern, it appears to have been expertly carved from teak, a hard wood known for it's beautiful grain and color, in addition to its outstanding durability. It's highly detailed and intricately carved. Extremely smooth and polished to give it a rich look and feel. The "Ive/We All Have Our Hangups" is carved into the hand cut solid wood base. Part of the word "We" is missing a slash, but sentiment is easily understandable. The initial "M" was carved into the bottom of the base by the artist. Measures 4.5" wide x 8.25" high x 2.25" deep. NEAR MINT (1 pencil point-size nick on back of head with a few pinhead-size nicks on back as well; light wear to base, mainly on back edges; sticker worn and discolored)
